Assisted in the implementation of firewall diagnosing and security policy implementations. Assisted in firewall management of various Fortune 500 companies, utility providers, and various other companies/corporations. Resolved issues from customers using the VeriSign remedy ticket system. Worked with many of the technologies used in the networking field such as VPNs, Cisco Pix firewalls, Proventia firewalls, etc.

Worked at various retail stores in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, teaching retail sales employees about the various technologies related to Hewlett Packard. Was involved in the basic marketing and setup of products around the retail stores. Communicated with potential customers about the new technologies including setup and installation, upcoming product releases, and features of the current technologies.

Helped with the installation and design of a network with 50+ computers over two floors. Myself and 12 others created and ran Ethernet cable to each of the classroom. We redesigned the failing network to contain more than 1 collision domain rather than the one the school was originally using. The redesigned network was created to give all computers access to a DHCP server, the internet, and printers while providing error free point-to-point communications throughout the entire building.

Performed basic database management including removing invalid records, updating information, creating new inquiries, and inputting new applications. Was involved in the testing, implementation, and training of other employees on the updated Oracle Banner database software and Talisma database system.
